It just has no effect on performance anymore when using SSD. Running the OS on a SSD makes basically nothing slow down your PC.

Having installed drivers for the past 20 years I have no longer wish to go to Nvidia or AMD homepage, to find the driver section, select my OS, select the graphics card and then download the current up to date version. It only does that if you tell it to do it when pushing the optimize button.

If you think using that bloatware is better than a manual driver only install, I got a bridge to sell ya. Besides, it's something you should do your self. I can enable raytracing ( i got an 2080ti) but the DLSS remains greyed out in the options. I already played and finished the game on the game pass version, and I thougth the team deserved the cash for the amazing product so i bought it here on steam so I could also enjoy it with ray tracing and DLSS. All it does is automatically set in game graphics settings it thinks are suitable for your hardware, and it often doesn't get it right. I cannot enable DLSS, and i don't know why. People actually think it "optimises" their game, it's quite funny. Geforce Experience doesn't do any harm and just makes it easier to install drivers.
